Welcome to Glenbrae (“we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using our website https://www.glenbrae.com (“the Site”) and placing orders, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

  1. Definitions
  • “Customer” / “You” – anyone purchasing goods from the Site.
  • “Goods” / “Products” – items available for sale online.
  • “Contract” – legally binding agreement formed when we accept your order.
  1. Ordering Process
  • Orders placed online constitute an offer to purchase.
  • A contract is formed only when we send an Order Confirmation via email.
  • We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.
  1. Pricing and Payment
  • Prices are in GBP (£), including VAT where applicable.
  • Delivery costs are added at checkout.
  • Payment must be received in full before dispatch.
  • Accepted payment methods are displayed at checkout.
  • If a pricing error occurs, we are not obliged to sell at the incorrect price.
  1. Export Orders (International Deliveries)
  • For orders delivered outside the United Kingdom, UK VAT will be deducted at checkout where applicable.
  • Shipping costs will be displayed at checkout.
  • Import duties, taxes, and customs charges may be applied by the destination country and are the sole responsibility of the customer.
  • These charges are not included in the price of the goods and must be paid by the recipient upon customs clearance in their country.
  • We recommend checking with your local customs authority for details of any charges that may apply before placing your order.
  • Failure to pay applicable duties and taxes may result in delays, return of the parcel, or additional charges, which will not be covered by Glenbrae or Spectrum Yarns Ltd.
  1. Delivery
  • Delivery options and costs are shown during checkout.
  • Estimated despatch times are within 5 working days but not guaranteed.
  • Risk passes to you when goods are delivered; ownership passes only once payment is complete.
  • Please check your order upon arrival and notify us of missing or damaged items.
  1. Cancellation and Returns

Your Right to Cancel (Distance Selling – UK & EU Customers)

  • Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days from the day after you receive your goods.
  • If your order has not yet been dispatched, we will cancel and refund it in full.
  • If your order has already been dispatched or delivered, you can still cancel your order, but you must return the goods to us in accordance with our returns policy (see Section 4). You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods, unless they are faulty.
  • All returned goods must be unused, in their original packaging, and in saleable condition, with all tags and labels still attached.

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned items or receiving proof of return.

  • Items must be returned within 14 days of notifying us, unused, in original packaging, and with all labels/tags attached.

Costs and Refunds

  • Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied.
  • Refunds are processed within 10 working days of receipt, to the original payment method.
  • Shipping charges are only refundable where goods are faulty or supplied incorrectly.

Exchanges

  • Glenbrae does not offer a direct exchange service. To change an item (size, colour, etc.), please return the original item for a refund and place a new order online.
  1. Faulty or Incorrect Goods
  • If a product is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you may request a repair, replacement, or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
  • Contact us promptly with proof of purchase and a description of the fault.
  1. Product Descriptions
  • We make every effort to display products accurately, but small variations in colour or texture may occur.
  • Minor discrepancies do not constitute a fault.
  1. Optional Enhancements

Gift Cards / Vouchers

  • Gift cards are valid for 180 days from issue and are non-refundable, except where required by law.
  • Redeemable only online at https://www.glenbrae.com.
  • Cannot be combined with promotions unless explicitly stated.

Discounts and Promotions

  • Valid only for specified dates/products.
  • Eligibility criteria (e.g., minimum spend) will be stated.
  • Cannot be combined with other offers unless stated.
  • Glenbrae reserves the right to withdraw or amend promotions at any time.

Account Registration

  • Customers creating an account are responsible for keeping login details confidential.
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorised use.
  • Glenbrae may suspend or terminate accounts if misuse is suspected.
  1. Intellectual Property
  • All Site content (text, images, logos, design, layout) is owned by Glenbrae or licensors.
  • Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use without permission is prohibited.

  • Glenbrae is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
  • This does not affect statutory consumer rights.
